AI-supported control of calculations and invoices

A Nordic property services group could only review a fraction of its orders by hand, and every missed deviation meant lost revenue. Reviewers had to check figures against rules, rates and agreements, and read supplier invoices, free-text time reports and contracts to spot what did not add up.

‍

We built a hybrid system in the client's own cloud environment. A rules engine handles the exact checks, while an AI layer reads the supporting material a controller would. When something does not add up, the case is flagged with the AI's reasoning and sources and sent to the right person, who approves, adjusts or dismisses it.

Value for the client:

  • Full order volume checked, rather than a fraction
  • Revenue recovered by catching deviations before invoicing
  • Less review time per order, with reviewers focused on flagged cases
  • A full audit trail of every check, AI output and human decision
